Buttock Augmentation

Buttock augmentation is an operation to enhance the shape and increase the size of the buttocks with collagen fillers, prosthetic implants, fat injections or combinations. It can be performed on all patients who find their hip size small, are not satisfied with its shape and symmetry and have realistic expectations.

Before Surgery 

Collection of detailed patient anamnesis, patient examination, collection of the individual’s expectations, information about the surgery, preoperative photographing, postoperative evaluation of the results, and the necessary analyses and tests are performed.

Buttock Augmentation with Implant

It is applied to patients who are not satisfied with the size and shape of their buttocks. With the implant placed in the appropriate plan, the buttocks become both enlarged and more lifted.

Surgery 

Under general anesthesia, the necessary procedures are performed to obtain a natural appearance with an incision to be made between the two glutes in 1-2 hours. implants are placed in the pocket to be opened in the lower layer of the gluteus maximus muscle, the largest muscle in the buttocks. It is just like breast augmentation surgery. However, the implants used here are denser. Since they are also placed under the muscle and have a thick layer of fat on them, they cannot be felt by hand.

Postoperative 

Eating starts in a short time. A special corset is used for about 2-3 weeks. Drains are removed within 3-5 days. You can take a bath 2 days after the drains are removed. It is recommended to sleep face down and sideways on the first days. Sitting for a long time should be avoided for about 1 week, patient can return to work after 1 - 2 weeks, do light exercise after 3 - 4 weeks, heavy exercise after 6 - 8 weeks. Bruising and swelling may be seen in the hip area, which resolves in an average of 2 to 3 weeks. Full recovery is after 6 months to 1 year. These periods may vary depending on the procedures added to the surgery.

Buttock Augmentation with Fat Injection  

Preoperative 

Detailed medical history, patient examination, patient expectations, information about the surgery, pre-procedure photography, necessary tests and examinations are performed.

Surgery

It is applied under general anesthesia in 1-2 hours. Fat is extracted from unwanted areas of your body by liposuction method. The fat is injected into the gluteal region after special procedures. No drain is used. Your surgery is performed with the help of a cannula through incisions of approximately 0.5-1 cm. The operation is completed with a special dressing and corset. 

After Surgery 

Eating starts in a short time. A special corset is used for about 2-3 weeks. You can take a bath 3 days after the operation. Prone and side sleeping is recommended in the first days. Sitting on it for a long time should be avoided for about 2 to 3 weeks, return patient can to work after 1-2 weeks, light exercise after 3-4 weeks, heavy exercise after 6-8 weeks. Bruising and swelling may be seen in the hip area, which resolves in 2-3 weeks on average. Full recovery is after 6 months to 1 year. These periods may vary according to the procedures added to the hip procedures.
