Danish Skin (Frax 1550nm)
As we age, the skin develops discolorations, blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles. Frax 1550 is a non-ablative laser that slows down and eliminates the visible effects of aging. It gives a fresher and younger appearance. Side effects are less than ablative lasers and recovery time is shorter.
Areas of use:
- Skin resurfacing, improving skin texture and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
- Acne scars, atrophic/hypertrophic scars.
- Scars after surgery and trauma.
- Repair/healing of sun damage.
- Reduction of age spots.
How does it Work?
Frax 1550 creates heat damage in very small and controlled areas. Areas of intact skin remain around the islets of damage. As the body repairs this controlled damage, collagen in the treated area increases. Thus, the skin becomes more flexible and smoother. While the skin surface is renewed, pigment irregularities are also improved.
Which Problems can be Treated?
Frax 1550 helps to improve lines, especially around the eyes, lips and neck. It regulates pigmentation on the face and shrinks pores. It is also known as lip laser. With age, our lips, like our face, lose their elasticity and former volume. Frax 1550 makes them look more healthy and glow. The treatment is not limited to our face, it can be used to tighten the neck, décolleté and back of the hand.
How Long does the Treatment Last?
An anesthetic cream is applied 30-40 minutes before the procedure. Although the duration of the procedure depends on the size of the area to be treated, it usually takes 15-30 minutes.
Recovery process
Recovery and return to social life is very short. A slight redness may be seen after the procedure. After the effect of anesthesia, a slight sunburn-like burning may be felt. Relief is achieved in a short time with the use of appropriate moisturizer. Make-up can be applied the day after the procedure. It is recommended to stay away from the sun in the post-procedure period.
