Skin Resurfacing

It is the procedure of peeling the upper layers of the skin using several methods. These methods may be chemical or contain using laser. Controlled peeling with ablative (peeler) lasers may be performed much more easily. As the upper layer of the skin may resurface itself, it heals without scarring. Recovery time is required depending on the depth of peeling after the procedure. It may take about 5-7 days to recover. Redness is more in the first days, then healing starts by exfoliation of the skin. Good moistening and sun protection is essential during this period. The refreshment and glowing are observed due to the decrease in fine wrinkles, pores and skin surface irregularity and the increase in skin quality with skin resurfacing procedure. It may require more than one session depending on the patients’ needs and the thickness of the skin. It should be combined with mesotherapy to improve skin quality after skin resurfacing.

Microneedling

It is a method of causing controlled injury on the skin surface using micromotor needles. 12 titanium needles of the pen-shaped instrument cause controlled injury at 90 degrees to the skin surface at different depths depending on the skin thickness. Thanks to the controlled injury points, healing is activated. With controlled healing, the desired production of collagen and elastin begins. Thus, it is effective in the treatment of fine wrinkles, acne scars, and open pores. Positive results are also obtained in skin firming, tightening and glowing, and the revitalization of hair follicles. The solutions used with the treatment increase the effect. As it does not cause peeling on the surface of the skin, recovery is rapid. No serious side effects occur. It may be performed to all face, hair or body regions.
