Emerge Laser

It is the only FDA-approved laser instrument that may be used on the eyelid thanks to its fractional laser feature and repairs the skin without tissue loss. While it does not change the surface of the skin, it opens micro thermal channels under the skin and activates the skin resurfacing mechanism. Resurfacing and repairing the skin, especially around the eyes, Emerge Laser can also make sure the area around the eyes to be brighter. Its most important indications are removing lip lines, pore tightening, treatment of scarred areas, and the whole face resurfacing. It requires sessions. Session intervals are about 2-3 weeks. 

Before the Procedure                                                            

A detailed medical history is obtained, the patient is examined, the expectations of the patient are learnt, the patient is informed about the procedure, photographs are taken before the procedure, the potential post-surgery outcomes are mutually evaluated. The skin surface should be cleaned.

Procedure 
 Since it does not cause peeling in the top layer of the skin, no anesthesia is required. The required number of shots is emitted to the required areas depending on the person's need. Thanks to its special head, it does not require eye protection with the glasses and it is very safe around the eyes as it does not emit the laser beam shots without touching the skin completely. The procedure takes about 10-20 minutes.

After the Procedure

After the procedure, the face can be washed. The person can return to work immediately. However, facial redness and swelling may occur. It usually regresses within 24-48 hours. It does not cause crusting and skin peeling. Makeup can be applied the next day. Using sunscreen and moisturizer is needed. It should be done in sessions. 3 sessions at intervals of about 2 weeks are sufficient.
